Though he aske me before, this time I was not prepared for what was in the box. A complete photocollection of one family.
Albums, from 1850 - 1950, cdv's, many still in the small giftbox the photographer kept them in.
In a way you wonder.... if this is from a family, who did sell all that was in the house?Why didn't they look for personal things like photographs? Was the person who died and left the house behind the very last person of the family? No children left, no one bearing the name?
Every cdv has a name, date of birth, tells the age when the photo was taken.
And even the dog isn't anonymous. His birth (!), name and death are recorded...
A family history will unfold for sure. And I will handle it all with great respect.
